Infinity Terrain for the FLGS 3

Also, recently Spartan Scenics had a sale, and as I can never resist a sale and they have some rather nice scatter terrain, I got myself for the FLGS 2 boxes of the warehouse accessories and it has a huge supply of scatter in it! Perfect for the club, and for Infinity as you can never have enough scatter!!! We have for the club in total 13 pieces of true scatter, 2 of which totally block line of sight, and 8 objective crates, which I know we need as a club for either YAMS or particular ITS missions for tournaments and such.

All the Scatter!!!
Objective crates
Was originally just going to use the large ones, but the smaller
ones seem more realistic!!!
Random boxes
A different style of box
2 boxes on a pallet with wheels up
This one blocks LoF
Another pallet with wheels down
This one contains some biohazard containers
Which eventually come off the pallet
And reveal some interesting secured barrels
That clearly need to come out of the securing equipment
Unless it's the other way round...
Cheers!

Necromunda Terrain Part 5

And the Necromunda scatter terrain continues (at last!)!!!

First up, the final 3 types of scatter; ok, I know I said two, but I realised that my plan wouldn’t work without buying more GW parts which I had no desire to do, and also allowed me to make them functional for Necromunda (and to some extent with all the terrain for Infinity). So I made three pieces, in duplicate of course!!!

And also based!!!
So we have a long crate on the ground with a couple of fuel cans, will provide some good soft cover. And along with it that strange cylinder like canister from the battlefield accessories pack, which also provides soft cover. And lastly we have the pallet with a box on it, provides soft or heavy cover based on the angle, and you can also stand on top of it to gain soft cover. Tempted to make it a house rule that if a loot token is on top of the box you have to climb on top of the pallet to get it!

Cypher and the Kempeitai were on holiday...
But you can see what sort of size they are
Oh yeah, and I’ve undercoated everything!!! Thought I would include one of the Necromunda platforms to give you a bit of scale comparison.

An inverted Deadzone matt works rather well for this
Also...do you think I have enough scatter for necro?!!!

As you can see it offers some nice soft cover!
And I wanted to throw in an AT-43 UNA Defender Cobra too for the hell of it!

Defender Cobra is HUUUUUUUUUGE!!!
Cheers!

Necromunda Terrain Part 4

Haha! More Necromunda scatter terrain!!!

This time, I’ve put together some barrels, and tank traps. First up, I present the spear like tank trap; fairly self-explanatory really, it’s just a single piece and will provide heavy or soft cover depending on where you stand.

It's a tank trap Jim
And now you can't get him in the head! Woot soft cover!!!
Secondly, the other tank traps! I decided to angle a few of these on the plasticard bases to make it look more interesting.

Will also provide annoying debates into whether there's heavy cover or not!!!
And finally, the barrels! I’ve created 3 variants here, doubles standing, triples standing, and triples knocked over. I wouldn’t mind having a few more triples knocked over

BARRELS!!!
Double
Triple Standing
Triple Knocked Over
Looks like soft cover there!
Yeah, fairly simple stuff, just need to base and then undercoat. I’ve got two more bits of scatter terrain I want to make first, then a big paint is coming!

Cheers!

AT-43 Terrain; Walls and Nano-Generators

I’m back! YAY!!! But seriously, sorry I went AWOL for a bit (camera issues!). Anywho thought I should do a quick update in the way of more AT-43 terrain, and some of the more awesome pre-painted scatter terrain you can get, the AT-43 walls and nano-generators!

The AT-43 walls are an interesting piece of scatter terrain as they aren’t just a simple box or rectangle like structure, but angled all over the place even the sides. The advantage of this is that it enables the creation of either straight or curved walls with these pieces based on how you place them together. In gaming terms they easily provide heavy cover for Necromunda and I’m tempted to give them the fortification rules for Infinity meaning a +6ARM instead of the usual +3ARM.

Small, simple, functional!
The low wall gives a fair bit of cover, the models are actually in base contact with the wall!
Look it fits together rather nicely!!!
The high wall. I would do one with the guys behind it but it blocks LOS so there's no real point

Even this one fits in nicely!

The other piece I have today is the nano-generators. These bits are generally used as objectives in the game, and in a later expansion could be bought in the army list of Therain players to generate more Leadership points, and in AT-43 Tactics be used by Therain players for an easy full ammo reloads. In Necro I see them as just a simple interesting piece of terrain, but in Infinity these things could easily work as objective markers. FYI the top part of these things can actually move, probably won’t affect anything unless there’s like a half level behind it or something!

It's a nanogenerator...what of it?!

So there you go! More AT-43 terrain! To my knowledge I just confirmed that I have 22 low walls, 10 high walls and 6 nano-generators…which is probably a bit excessive but I don’t care!!!

Wait a second...is that a deadzone matt...

Cheers!
